Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø Rams’ Deandre Leith is NAIA shot put national champion

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø Rams shot putter , a senior, brought home Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø’s first-ever NAIA outdoor individual championship with a school record mark of 18.09m at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships held in Marion, Indiana.
Leith is the second Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø track and field athlete toÌýbe distinguishedÌýas an NAIA national champion besides three-time indoor Pole Vault championÌý.Ìý
Leith was joined in the shot put by freshmanÌý, who finished top-25 posting a mark of 15.68m.
The Rams finished 22nd out of the 77 teams that scored.Ìý
